SmartBadge 2000 is a bi-lingual application that we developed specifically to meet customer requirements. Some of the features of the SmartBadge 2000 are:
SPECIAL CARDS (SMART CARDS)
In addition to standard badges, SmartBadge is able to create security grid cards, magnetic strip cards, proximity cards, and SmartCards. Each of these card technologies provide different features that may apply.
BAR CODE AND MAGNETIC STRIPE
SmartBadge supports the following barcode symbologies: Upc A, Upc E 11 digit, Ean/Jan-13, Ean/Jan-8, Code 3 of 9, Extended Code 3 of 9, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128 Auto, Coda bar, Postnet Zip+4, MSI Plessey, Code 93, Extended Code 93, Ucc 128, HIBC, PDF-417, Upc E 0 System 6 digit, Upc E 1 System 6 digit, Code 128A, Code 128B, and Code 128C.
SmartBadge supports all the three tracks of magnetic encoding (Track 1, Track 2, and Track 3). Data can be encoded by single-track or multiple-track. SmartBadge supports both EMPI and ABA encoding.
CARD SERIAL NUMBER
SmartBadge can produce serial numbers for each printed ID cards which adds additional Security for duplicated and fake cards.
DATABASES
SmartBadge uses a standard relational database management system (RDBMS) to store all ID holder, user, and audit information. Supports all the popular Databases like ORACLE, Microsoft SQL, ACCESS, etc.
DEVICE AND PERIPHERALS INTEGRATION
SmartBadge has a wide supports for Peripherals Integrations, like Analog and Digital Cameras (JVC Cameras), Scanners, Penware (or any Signature capturing device), barcode and magnetic readers and all Card Printers (i.e. NISCA Printers).
JVC Digital Camera KY-F1030 and Penware 1500 is FULLY COMPATIBLE.
SECURITY
SmartBadge administrator has the ability to modify certain ways SmartBadge will function. These functions include Login type, Menu Security, Audit Table and Remote Authorization.
REPORTS
SmartBadge has the ability to create system reports. The report process allows for ad-hoc reports (Optional) and the execution of finite system reports on administrative data. In addition to these reports, SmartBadge also is able to create dossier type reports. These reports include textual information, graphical images, logos, or signatures that are stored in the database (Optional). These reports are customizable and they must provide the ability to query record information from the database based on certain fields.
SmartBadge uses Crystal Reports as its reporting software. SmartBadge has the ability to access the reporting software through the application.
CARD DESIGN AND LAYOUTS
SmartBadge provides a graphical design editor for the creation and modification of badge designs. This designer uses windows standard drag and drop interfaces as well as a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) display. After a badge has been designed, the new badge layout is automatically added to the badge format drop down list box in the data entry screens. The badge designer has the ability to add text, images, and other elements to a badge layout.
Tools include, Text Controls, Barcode, Images, miscellaneous Shapes and Lines and Bilingual Support.
